Living the Gospel in the Carbondale
and SIUC Communities for Fifty Years
In 2010, Epiphany celebrated its first fifty years. Throughout the year, on the first Sunday of many months, we welcomed one of our former pastors to preach and reminisce about our ministry together. A schedule of all our anniversary events is available via the link to the right.
October 10th was our Festival Celebration day. Bishop Warren Freiheit preached at a single service at 9:30 a.m. A luncheon followed at the Carbondale Civic Center.
On Sunday, October 24, at 7:00 p.m., we debuted a Jazz Liturgy of Holy Communion written by SIUC School of Music professor and Epiphany member Phil Brown, and led by an ensemble of SIUC students and professors.
